Arctic personalities

Arctic conditions have taught Finns over centuries to cope in the harsh environment. The Nordic people are a hardy bunch, with a strong determination to survive and prosper. In harsh conditions, people have always needed to be able to come up with new and unusual ideas in order to get by.

We may be quiet, but we always stand behind our words. It has been said that Finns have the most reliable handshake in the world. For us, simplicity and authenticity are essential. We are proudly different, sometimes even too honest, and have a dry sense of humour.

Our aim is to provide an excellent place to work. We train our staff ourselves, and we have a long tradition with craftsmanship. All our employees are insured for accidents, and we offer a wide range of occupational health services. Occupational health services regularly check up on our employees’ well-being and work ergonomics. We also offer our employees free leisure activities on their free time.

Together we maintain a “can do” company culture, and diversity is our greatest strength. Openness and collaboration between different cultures and workers is natural to us. Currently there are employees from 12 different countries working in our factories, and we trade in 25 different countries.

We want to be an active member in our local community, so we regularly support organizations and clubs in the area. In addition, we make an annual donation to changing environmental protection projects.
